I have just concluded my first meeting with Lieutenant Darrod Hanous, the Chief Engineer of the USS Midway. He is a very professional Orion, straight to the point, no fodder. I like him. I look forward to working under him. He has given me liberties as one of two Damage Control Specialists on the ship, assigned as a team leader in both crisis and normalcy. I will endeavor to meet and exceed his expectations.
