Mission 6: Echoes of the Interphase

After successfully delivering the lifesaving Xenoderm to New Paradise, the Starship Midway is recalled to Earth by Admiral Nogura, Chief of Star Fleet Operations. A colony near the site of the Starship Defiant's disappearance has destabilized, turning its population to dust.

Star Fleet fears the nearby interphase rift is destabilizing again, and only the Midway can confront the growing threat. As the ship races back to the region, its mission is clear: seal the rift before the same fate befalls other worlds. But a chilling revelation emerges—the Tholians are not just bystanders. Manipulating the rift’s energies, they seek to weaponize its destructive potential and fracture Federation space from within.
