The Triangle

The Triangle is a region of space where the territorial claims of the United Federation of Planets, the Klingon Empire, and the Romulan Star Empire converge. This area is a haven for smugglers, Orion pirates and renegades. Neither the Federation, the Klingons, nor the Romulans can fully exert their laws or jurisdiction there, making it an ideal hiding spot or base of operations for those trying to avoid the reach of these powers. Furthermore, the Triangle contains numerous systems that are rich in resources, making it an attractive target for clandestine mining operations.
