Her scariest feature is when she is angry she won't shout or scream, but she will go silent letting it brew. | Personal History | Georgette was born in France. As a child she showed no particular interest in anything. However she was always fascinated with the stars and with taking things apart and seeing how they worked. When she was eighteen she joined Starfleet, looking for something to do. She was fond of Starfleet and wanted to explore more of the stars. She didn't know what position to choose or department. After a while she showed interest and affinity to Engineering. She trained to become an Engineer. She excelled and took to Engineering like a fish took to water, doing well and getting good grades. Her logical mind and way of thinking helped her through the engineering course at the academy. At twenty two, she was assigned to the USS Lexington as an Engineering Officer at the rank of Ensign. She wasn't too fussed at being an Ensign. She was loyal to her Department Head and her Captain. However Georgette caught the Assistant Chief Engineer, meddling in the security systems. She reported the incident and it was taken upto the Captain. The Assistant Chief Engineer was disciplined, court martialed and expelled from Starfleet. In 2264, Georgette was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade and made the new assistant Chief Engineer of the Lexington. She saw service in the the Lexington engaged several Klingon ships along the border during the conflict. However towards the Lexington was badly damaged by several Klingon ships in a skirmish along the Neutral Zone. Georgette and the Engineering crew managed to keep the ship together long enough for them to return back to a safe harbour. The Lexington now in spacedock was facing a long repair and refit schedule. Most of its crews were reassigned, Georgette was assigned as one of the shipyard engineers at the San Francisco Fleet Yards. Over the next year she led engineering crews in the refit of the Lexington and was in command of a team of engineers. Here she took some of her spare time to study and specialise in warp mechanics doing additional classes at Starfleet Academy. In 2268, the USS Loki a Saladin Class Starship was in for a refit. Georgette, freshly promoted to Lieutenant was placed in charge of overseeing the refit of the ship. She was given a time schedule of three months to overhaul all the ships systems and bring the vessel upto current standards. With lots of hard work and well trained engineering teams,. Georgette managed to finish the refit in time. Once the refit of the USS Loki was finished, Georgette was put in for another post. She was selected as the new Chief Engineer of the USS Midway, Starfleets newest Constitution Class Starship. |
