Personal History Carter Page grew up in the quiet small town of Princeton, Indiana, where life revolved around family, hard work, and community traditions. The only son of retired Starfleet Chief Petty Officer Noah Page and Amanda Carter Page, Carter was taught the values of discipline and resilience from an early age. Although himself a man of few words, Noah instilled in Carter a deep respect for responsibility and duty. Carter would often help him with small maintenance tasks around the family farm, gradually learning the basics of mechanics and problem-solving. Though his father rarely spoke about his years in Starfleet, the few stories he did share about deep-space missions and ship repairs captivated the boy's interest in life beyond his rural hometown.

As a teenager, Carter made the most of the opportunities at his rural high school being a big fish in a small pond. He excelled in sports, particularly basketball and running. Academically he was advanced in mathematics and other STEM fields. Though well-liked, Carter was never one to seek the spotlight. His modest nature and willingness to help others was a double edged sword. He was both respected and underestimated.

After high school, Carter faced a crossroads. His father had hoped Carter would stay close to home and become a partner in the family farm but Carter’s curiosity about the galaxy and his growing interest in technology beckoned him elsewhere. Although Starfleet Academy felt like a distant dream, he applied anyway with encouragement from his teachers and coaches. When Carter received his acceptance letter his parents were surprisingly supportive and acknowledged it was his decision.
